Jazz is going to be a normal, all-American young female genius, more than likely with a career in psychology. At least, that’s what she tries to be, but with a family full of ghost hunters in a city full of ghosts, that ends up being harder than she once believed.

The caring, smart, maybe bragging older sister of Danny, she uses her vast knowledge of all things psychological and sociological to maintain a type of order for her family. She sees her parents’ obsession with ghosts as unrealistic and definitely unhealthy. That is, until she sees her brother change into a ghost himself! Coming to terms with the new reality, Jazz tries to help in any way she can without letting Danny know that she knows. Unfortunately, that means she starts to slip into the family business, which she has a most uncanny knack for.

In the end, she takes ghost study in full-heartedly, helping Danny fight through some of his worst battles (and even writing her college thesis about the paranormal). There’s no escaping the Fenton gene pool.
