Spectra is one of the most devious of Danny's opponents. She wields psychological warfare like a pro, demoralizing teenagers to feed off their despair. She nearly gets away with it, disguised as a high school counselor in her debut episode; and not even Danny is immune to her mind games.

She is extremely vain about her appearance, using the despair of others to fuel her own youthful appearance. When this fails, she resorts to a complex scheme to purloin genetic material from the students of Casper High to build a new and eternally youthful body for her pitch dark normal form to inhabit. Thanks to Jack Fenton's DNA however, this plan fails.

She's apparently dating her lackey Betrand, and their relatioship is rocky at best. This is evidenced in their dispute in Girls' Night Out, when she teams up with her fellow female spooks to cause some feminist mayhem in Amity Park.
