Additional Information
This device is largely an excuse for the series to have a "characters get shrunk, hilarity ensues" episode. Apparently it is designed to reduce a ghost in size and threat level. Unlike many of Jack's inventions, this one actually works as intended, and is used as intended when he uses it to "save Danny", shrinking Dash, Danny, and Skulker. The shrinkage does reduce a ghost's threat level, as shortly after being hit, Skulker and Danny both lose use of their ghostly powers. The Crammer's effect does not appear to extend to ecto-weaponry however, as Skulker's new battle armor remained fully functional.
It is unknown if the shrink effects wear off after a time, though it may be assumed, given Skulker's return in Double Cross My Heart indicating he's back to his original size. It is unlikely that the Ghost Crammer will be a repeat appearance on the show, given its very specific purpose. This device is unique in the series, as the viewer gets some insight into how the Fentons name their inventions. An alternative and unused name for the Ghost Crammer is the "Specter Shrinker", which was not used because "that's exactly what the ghosts expect."
