Additional Information
Another regularly appearing gadget on the show, the "Fenton Family Ghost Assault Vehicle", or simply "the RV" as it's more commonly known makes for an imposing sight on the streets of Amity Park. Especially when Jack is at the wheel of this metal monster. Part minivan, part camper, and part heavily armed assault vehicle, the RV appears to be the primary mode of transport for the Fentons, given that the only other car we see on the show belongs to Jazz.
The RV's precise weapons loadout seems to vary slightly by episode. Among its equipment appear to be a considerable array of ecto-guns and a turret with a goo launching cannon, an ice gun, and some sort of lightning gun. Not surprisingly, it is also equipped with an anti-ghost shield that seems to have two seperate modes of operation. The first is much like the FentonWorks ghost shield, projecting a dome over a small radius. According to Public Enemies, this shield can only be maintained for 15 minutes, so it must be a considerable drain on the vehicle's power supply. In The Fenton Menace, the shield seems to be a much smaller forcefield surrounding the RV's exterior. Given that Jazz seemed ready to leave it turned on all night to keep Danny locked up, this mode of operation must use a lot less of the power supply. It was very briefly equipped with an ecto-converter in Secret Weapons, likely an attempt by the Fentons to solve the power supply demands of both shield and weaponry.
For such a massive and presumably heavy vehicle on tank treads, the RV has astounding acceleration and manuverability. More than once we've seen Jack get it up on two wheels (Well, technically one tread and one wheel) darting through traffic or around corners. The Gadget Expert can only wonder how much horsepower the engine must have, and what its gas mileage is like.
Of note, the RV has been trashed badly on at least three seperate occasions. Wulf destroyed it once in Public Enemies, and later Technus used it as the basis for his "Technus 2.0" battle armor in Identity Crisis. Given events in that episode, it's a fairly certain thing to say that it was trashed after the ghost was dealt with. Undergrowth trashes it soundly a third time in Urban Jungle.
