We've just announced our next fandom-wide project, a collaborative fanbook this time instead of a poster; and it's going to former DP story writer Steve Marmel this time. Butch gets all the love, but remember that one man does not a TV show make- and writers like Steve play a vital role.

After entirely too darn long, there's an actual update to the website! Okay, it's a fairly minor one, but I'm still recovering from final exams and everything.

First bit of news: The deadline is totally past for the Holiday Poster Project. We're at a commendable 54 entries, representing fans on at least three continents. If you haven't quite got your entry done though, we will accept late entries until the poster is actually compiled. Keep in mind though, if you wait too long, your work may not make it in time to be included.

Second bit of news: Today's site update includes a new Soapbox entry on the subject of slash/non-slash. Spectra now has a character profile up, and there's been a couple of minor revisions to Dani and to Valerie's profiles.

Hopefully over the winter break we should get some more screencaps in, and I do hope to make more progress on the Gadget Encyclopedia.

For those of you who didn't quiiiiite have enough time to get your poster entries in, you've got a roughly week long reprieve!

Due to my own real life schedule, I won't be able to start compiling the complete poster at least until next weekend. So I figure... why not let people keep sending in their work for the poster until then? So hop to it, you procrastinators! We're already up to 37 poster entries!

DPO, in association with DP-RealFans on DeviantArt and nearly a dozen other Danny Phantom clubs is undertaking a winter/holiday themed collaborative poster project to be given to series creator Butch Hartman this December.

The project is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of whether or not they're a member of the forum or any of the communities participating. The submission deadline is December 5th, so you've got plenty of time to plan out and write or draw your submissions!

Well, well, a news post that has absolutely nothing to do with the forums!

Finally caught up on the backlog since MikomiCon. So in tonight's update, we have minor updates to the Dictionary, Trivia, and Quotes; two new Soapbox articles (one by yours truly!); and a slew of new merchandise reviews courtesy of PandaJenn. Sorry, no new character bios or anything just yet, since I wanted to catch up on submitted material before getting back to the rest.
